just telling my story

not looking for glory

telling my story

while it can still be told

 

the good times

the bad times

the in-between times

those that can’t be put into rhymes

 

in places near

in places far

in situations drop-dead normal

and sometimes downright bizarre

 

my museum

is a lyceum

of life-slices, the stuff

of many an error and foul-up

but that also opened more than enough

avenues to accomplishment

and acknowledgment

 

I have had a good run

and I daresay

a lot of fun

along the way
